I am trying to install some old games that I have, onto my new computer with Vista 64-bit. Customer service at HP said the games are not compatible with Vista. However I know they have no idea what they are talking about. The games I am trying to install
are: Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, C&C Generals, Dungeon Seige 2, and Dawn of War 2. I have tried to install them as the administrator and have changed the compatibility to Win XP SP2.
However I still get the messages:
war3_Istall.exe has stopped working
or
Win 32 error message
I would appreciate any input.
Computer Specs:
Vista Home 64-bit
Intel Pent Dual Core - 2.6Ghz
4gb ddr3 ram
512 mb ATI Radeon HD 4350
Lightscribe 16x max drive
Hi,
Welcome to Windows Vista answers forum
Check the compatibility of the game that you are trying to install with Windows Vista 64 bit version by yourself. In the webpage mentioned below there is an option on the left hand top corner select that option first and check their compatibility.
