"Frequency out of range" error message

I just recently bought a game, but it will not run. My PC far exceed the minimum specs to run the game, but when I start the game, my screen goes black, and then a screen saver type box appears that says "Frequency out of range"

Hello Mhl03,

One other helpful insight.  Only very recent games support widescreen resolutions.  I've had to learn this the hard way myself.  A good number of games by EA do not support widescreen.  You might want to check the Game's support sight to see if it supports widescreen or if a patch has been released that will.

Hope this helps you
