Q: error 1632 This thread is locked from future replies

when trying to install any game now i get this message   error 1632. i have emptied my temp files and have tryed again but no success anyone hav a clue what i can do.
i am running vista 64 on a asus 50   help please!!!!!!

OK, let's try a couple of other things here.  Have you tried running the files in XP compatibility mode?  Instead of double clicking the file to run it, right click on the file and select "run in compatibility mode" and then select XP.  that might work. 

But we need to find out why it is saying your temp directory is full or read only.  Let's run a system file check to verify the integrity of your system files.  To do that:

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
Click Start
then type cmd in the Start Search box.
Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue
At the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow
When the scan is complete, test to see whether the issue that you are experiencing is resolved.

make sure you empty both temp folder
go to run, type temp, empty folder
go to run, type %temp%, empty folder
they are different folders
