directx error..display driver..features not available ..win 7 64 bit..ati 5700 series ..was working ..not anymore..a reason would be nice..updates maybe? system authentic..

The file aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx32,aticfx32,aticfx32,atiumd64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atiumdag,atidxx32,atidxx32,atiumdva,atiumd6a.cap,atitmm64.dll is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).  You may be able to get a WHQL logo'd driver from the hardware manufacturer.

1)   Do you recall making any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

2)   What is the exact error message you receive?

3)   When exactly do you get this error message?


There could be several causes for this issue –Major cause could be corrupt driver installation; I would suggest you to try the following steps:

 

Step 1: Uninstall and reinstall the display adapter or graphic card drivers

You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.

a)   Open Device Manager by clicking the  Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

b)   If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

c)   In Device Manager, locate display adapter and then double-click the device name- ATI 5700.

d)   Click the Driver tab, and then click uninstall Driver and follow the instructions.

Step 2: Download and install the latest graphic card drivers from the manufacturer’s website.

i have fixed my problem..the updates supplied for my graphics card were corrupted..(not signed)..updates for windows messenger were also corrupted..i went into directx diagnostic tool..checked each tab and went from there..my advice check updates before installing..peace out...
