direct draw error

i cant open an installed game..i get a fatal error..failed to initialize direct draw: result dd create fail. direct draw create ex : e out of memory..and in dxdiag the direct 3d option is disabled..but yesterday everything was ok, i have downloaded dx web setup, installed it and the game worked, but today wen i logged in direct 3d was disabled and the game didnt work no more..

PLEASE HELP!!

Also the error may occur if the video card does not have sufficient memory to run the games. You may check the memory usage in the resource monitor. The memory required for a particular game depends on the game itself-

Resource Monitor is a tool that you can use to monitor the usage of CPU, hard disk, network and memory in real time.

Open Resource Monitor by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Resource Monitor, and then, in the list of results, click Resource Monitor. 
If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.‌
