Cannot play Fallout 3 -'The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll'

Original Title: "The ordinal 5360 could not be located in the dynamic link library xlive.dll" error message when launching Fallout 3. Only happens once the DLC is installed. Help?

Hi,

·        How are you installing the game?

Fallout 3 is not compatible with Windows 7. Check the link mentioned below.

Step 1:

Uninstall the game and reinstall it in compatibility mode and check whether you are able to play the game. Check the link mentioned below to install the game in compatibility mode.

Make older programs run in this version ofWindows

Step 2:

Update the .Net framework and check whether you are able to install the game and play.

a.       Click on Start menu and type in Turn Windows Features On or Off and press Enter.

b.      Locate .Net Framework and click on + to expand it.

c.       Place a check mark near the two empty boxes that appear.

d.      The click OK and wait until it silently installs the required features.

 

Now install the game and check whether you are able to play.

 

Step 3:

Install games for Windows –Live setup 3.0 and then install the game and check whether you are able to play the game.
