Cannot setup Windows 8 - Microsoft Account Reserved Domain Error

I am installing Windows 8 Pro RTM.

I selected the 'Setup a Microsoft Account' option and I have filled in all my details for my Windows Live ID which is linked to one of my email addresses - *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

However, I keep getting the error 'This email address is part of a reserved domain such as live.com, hotmail.com , or msn.com. Please enter a different emails address.' Why am I getting this error?

I need to use this Windows Live ID as my Zune account and my Skydrive account uses it and my Windows 7 phone is setup with this Live ID.

This is really frustrating as I'm sitting here ready to install Windows 8, moved all my files and now I'm completely stuck.

Just ridiculous......

Experiencing the same problem here...

Similar issue existed in Windows 8 consumer preview and release preview and apparently they didn't fix it!!
