Install the package KB2607607 error code 0x800f081f.

my system display language is Chinese,but i want to use the English,so i use the language option to install the EN package,it downloaded the Windows8-KB2607607-x64-ENU,but in the step of install it ,it says cannot install this package.
so i use the cmd with dism command,it also run in error,

Thank you for posting your question in Microsoft Community.

 

Method1.

 

Run Windows Update troubleshooter  and try installing the language pack

 

Follow the steps to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter:

a. Press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the Charms bar.

 

b. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under Settings.

 

c. Now type Windows update in the search option.

 

d. Click on Windows Update troubleshooter to run the troubleshooter

 

 

 

Method2.

 

Manually reset windows update components

 

a.      Press windows + R

 

b.      To open Run type Services.msc

 

c.       Search for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS), Cryptographic services,  Windows update services and Stop the services

 

d.      Go to

C:\Windows and then rename the folder SoftwareDistribution to SoftwareDistribution.old
 

Then go to C:\Windows\System32 and then rename the Catroot2 folder to Catroot2.old

Then follow steps A , B ,C to start the services back again

 

Method3.

 

Run this command in command prompt

a.      Press windows key + W

b.      Open Command prompt (Admin)

c.       Type dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth  and press enter

Same problem here.

 

I have installed kb2607607 english lang pack perfectly but with french lang pack I'm only getting an installation error.

 

I have tried all possible solutions before explained and I always get the same error, no number error, just "the following updates were not installed".

 

I don't know how to solve this issue.

Go to PC Settings > General > Recovery. Then, do one of the following:

 

Choose Refresh Your PC to restore your PC to original factory condition, but keep all files. Your PC will automatically download and install the latest software update (if available).

 

This will reset all settings. No data or media will be deleted.

 

Choose Reset Your PC to erase everything and reinstall Windows.

 

All media, data, and settings will be erased. This cannot be undone.

Are there any way to fix this without restore my PC to original factory condition?
I tried installing the language pack right away when I got the new win8 notebook.
