Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams
Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary
technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a
Microsoft Agent or
Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an
official
Microsoft global customer service number.
There is a serious flaw to this app right now. It is very broken for those of us who need parental consent for the account. When I log in it prompts me to accept the new terms. Which I do, then it says it can't let me and needs parental consent online.
Okay, so I click the link and it opens it up in my web browser. Then the page that it shows prompts me to agree, which I do then it directs me to a log in screen for the parents account. Still reasonable, so I have them log in and click agree, then it directs
us back to the log in screen and states that the account log in was wrong, even thought it already let them log in. It is truly unfortunate that this would happen, it's just a bad app right now, I would have hoped that it was fixed before releasing. Please
give advice on getting it fixed. Oh, and Microsoft's "Contact Us" page actually won't let you contact them.
