Windows 8 apps, store, and system problem whats wrong

windows 8 apps not working the app store says could not connect server problem or timed out if I go to windows update it says windows can not search for update because service not available may need to restart computer but restarting does not fix anything what do i need to do or whats the problem

Did you make any changes to the computer prior to the issue?

This issue might occur if proxy settings are enabled on the computer.

Method 1: If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.


Disable the proxy server and check
.

 

a. Open Internet Explorer
b. Click Tools and then click Internet Options.
c. Then click the Connections tab.
d. Then click the LAN Settings button.
e. Then Uncheck the option which reads” Use a proxy server for your LAN”

f. Click apply and then ok.
