Why windows store isn't available in Iran?

I have just installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview, but it looks like that Windows Store isn't available in Iran?

Microsoft added more localization options for Iranian people, and Standard Persian keyboard, and many other things... But we can't use Microsoft Store, This means that we can't install new Metro-Style apps. (There are many other resources for downloading or buying desktop apps, but not about Metro apps till now)

So, why should we migrate to Windows 8 when we can't use its new apps?!

There was a sentence from somebody in another topic in Microsoft answers: "any US corporation is not allowed to sell anything in Iran because of the current economic sanctions." So, even if this sentence is correct, Why you are blocking whole Microsoft Store? You should allow at least free apps for us, I think.

And as a programmer, I wanted to create some Metro apps for Windows 8 (Before releasing Windows 8 Consumer Preview), but now seems that I can't do that...

P.S. Even Chrome Web Store allowed us to download apps from it! But Microsoft...

I guess even Microsoft or any other american company is helpless infront of USA sanctions over Iran.  Sanctions should be avoided that hurts people of that country like you people are suffering. More you pepple use USA products ,more u will attach to them that may be positive sign for USA-Iran people to people attachment.(relations).

Iran is not on the list of the countries that will feature Store.

Can you explain the reason of this for us?

Iranians have access to chrome web store without any problems for us nor Google...

I've been using Windows Phone for a year and the marketplace is open to Iran. (Where Google's Android Market and Apple's Store are blocking Iranian IPs).

 

Last week Obama criticized Iranian government for restricting the Internet access to Iranians and promised to Iranian citizen that his government plans to do something about this, to start: lets allow Google, Microsoft and Apple to grant us access to their services!
