Unable to download anything new in Windows Store with error code 0x80070426

Original title: windows 8 store error code 0x80070426



it wont let me download anything I just keep getting the error code 0x80070426 but I was able to do updates for all the games and apps I have download It just wont let me download anything new

. Family Safety settings might be hiding apps because of age rating.

. The app isn’t available in your country or region.

. The payment method associated with your account isn’t from the country or region you’re in.


. Have you made any recent hardware or software changes to your computer prior to the issue?

Method 2:


Check if the date, time and time zone is set according to your time and time zone.


Follow the steps to set the date and time:


a. Press Windows key + C on your keyboard to show the Charms bar.

b. Type “Date and Time” in the charms bar search.

c. Click Change date and time button (To change the time zone click on time zone tab).

d. Click “Apply” and “OK” to save the date and time.


Method 3:


Clean Store Cache by following the steps:


a. Press the Windows+ R keys on your keyboard to open the Run dialog.

b. Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.

c. The Store will now open, and state the following: The cache for the store was cleared. You can now browse the store for apps.


Method 4:


I would suggest you to run the Microsoft Accounts Troubleshooter and update us on the status of the issue.
