Windows 8 / secure boot / moving from one PC to another

I'm currently using Win 8 on a 32bit PC that doesn't support secure boot.  I have an image backup of my drive.

If I buy a new PC (also 32bit) that *does* support secure boot, can I use the backup from the old PC?  In other words, is there anything in the existing Win 8 backup that would conflict with a new PC and secure boot?  Assume same size hard drive.

Thanks in advance.

No, should not, Windows 8 has some sophisticated hardware detection technologies, so if you restore the backed up image on the new computer, it will function just fine. Although, I should note, if you purchase a new computer, it will likely already come preinstalled with Windows 8.

Will the new PC have secure boot or will the backup (from the non-secure boot pc) prevent it?
