Windows 8 on Mac

Hi everyone -

I want to make a Windows partition on Mac with Bootcamp, but Windows 8 is an "upgrade" and I don't have any previous versions of Windows.
It would be ridiculous if I had to buy Windows 7 first and than buy Windows 8... Is there any way to do a clean install of Windows 8 on a clean partition?

Kind Regards,
Fallrise

Answer

For Mac users, you need to purchase the full version OEM System Builder license:

There are no full retail versions of Windows 8. If you need a full version, you will need to purchase the Windows 8 Pro OEM from New Egg. This requires a custom clean install.

Windows 8 Pro
64 Bit (OEM)

Windows 8 Pro
32 Bit (OEM)

Windows 8
64 Bit (OEM)

Windows 8
32 Bit (OEM)
