Secure Boot Violation after installing Windows 8 Release Preview on Samsung 'Developer' slate

I just installed the Windows 8 Release Preview on the Samsung slate that we attendees got at the MIX last year. After installing I get a 'MS-DOS'-type error message

+---- Secure Boot Violation ----+

Invalid signature detected. If this error persists, seek technicall assistance.

I've tried hitting F5 when the slate boots at the time the Samsung logo shows (according to some documents that should give a recover option), but that doesn't help.

Any suggestion is very welcome as I now have a nice brick.

Try it again. Do exactly like this:

1) Hold Volume Up+Volume Down

2) Press the Power button and let that go again (simple tap it until the power comes up)

3) If you get the 'Secure Boot Violation', let go of the volume buttons and quickly press both of them again.

4) The unit will reboot (the screen will go blank).

5) If you get the Secure Boot Violation screen again, left the volume buttons go and press them again.

Keep trying: it is a timing issue. It took me 10 times or so before I got the timing right. I now can go to BIOS at the first time I try. Keep trying; the BIOS is really there. You have a very small window in which you need to press the volume buttons; about 0.2 seconds or so I'm guessing.
