how can i install old software on windows 8

very old software (32 bits) use to installed on windows XP SP3
i can not install on windows 8

checked online there is a WOW64 i can try, but i dont know how to do that or where i can enabled the feature from windows 8

Point to the setup files for the older software you want to install

Right click the setup file and click 'Troubleshoot compatibility'

Wait while it detects the problem.

Click the option 'Worked in a previous version of Windows'

Select Windows XP

Click Next

Click Start the program, wait while it installs

When installation is complete, click Finish and save the settings.

Try connecting the to the Internet again.

Hi,

In most cases being connected to the internet is not important. However for some programs
it is required. So try both ways if needed.
