Error 204

I am trying to download Adobe Creative Cloud, but my computer will not let me install. It pulls up an error 204 saying:  problem accessing a critical file/directory during download. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hello Cassie,

To help you resolve your concern, we'll give you 3 methods:

Method 1: Uninstall and Reinstall

With regards to your concern you can uninstall and reinstall Adobe Creative Cloud. This will help us determine if the download has been incomplete or if this has something to do with your Installer.

Method 2: Clean boot

If concern still persist you can perform Clean boot to determine what conflict causing it.

Method 3: Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed
