Can't install Windows 8 from USB flash drive

hello,  I used to install Windows 7  from my USB flash drive (8 GB) for a long time.  but, when I tried to install Windows 8 with flash drive, occured an error:  Windows can't install on MBR partition, it only can install on GPT.  ok, it's clear, but if it said: only GPT, and not MBR, why can I install Windows 8 directly from D disk (from Windows instalation folder).  yes, I installed Windows 8 directly without any problem, but, why it is imposible to install the Windows from USB flash drive?  Thanks....

Boot from the Windows 8 usb

Boot from the media you created to install on another partition
