Add WIndows Features - Windows Media Centre - Something Went Wrong Close This Wizard and Start Again

Hi,

 

I have been trying to add Windows Media Centre to my new install of Windows 8. Having received a key from Microsoft, I try and install and get the following error (key accepted, a short progress bar appears, then):

 

x Something went wrong. Close this wizard and try again."

No amount of retrying seems to help.

don't know if you solve the problem yet,
I had the same problem, this may help it work for me, I uninstall  my media center app and disable windows media player on the add features section restart my computer and run the media center pack wizard again and it worked
