Windows Media Player 12 not working properly in Windows 8.

Original title: Windows Media Player does not display start/play button.  Unable to listen to streaming audio.  Walter Moore

I had two radio stations pinned to the start program.  One of the stations appeared to be listed in duplicate and I deleted the duplicate.  The pinned listing disappeared and so did the sound.
