Unable to install xilinx ise 10.1

Original Title: insatallation problem

 

i have to install the xilinx ise 10.1 version in windows 8,which was succesfully installed in windows 7 .its asking for administrator previliges.......plz help me

Right click the setup file or program executable and click 'Run as administrator'.

I am even facing the same weird problem. My all other programs[Microwind 3.5, Comsol 4.1, Matlab 2009b, EDWinXP, MikTex, etc] which worked on XP sp2 work on Windows 8 Pro except Xilinx 10.1. In this case, I am unable to install the software though it installs for about 33% and Windows 8 gives error like "_setup.exe stops working". Please help me if you have any solution.
