Hi ImadSabonji,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Community!

As I understand you are using Windows 8 Pro on Your System and facing an issue with People Application.

You have linkedIn, twitter and facebook linked to your Microsoft account.

Twitter and facebook show correctly in the people hub in windows 8 pro, linkedIn, is connected but it doesn't show any notifications and you are unable to update status on it.

Here are few Troubleshooting steps that should help you to resolve this Issue:-

Remove LinkedIn from your Microsoft account and then Reconnect it to your Microsoft Account. To do so please follow the given Steps:-

a) Visit https://account.live.com

b) Log in using your microsoft account ID and Password.

c) On the left hand side you will find the options listed as (Overview, Notification, Permissions, Billing).

d) Left click on Permissions and choose Manage Accounts.

e) Left click on Manage Accounts, there you will see linkedIn icon.

f) Below linkedIn icon there is an option (Edit).

g) Click on Edit option.

h) Left click on Remove linkedIn.

i) After removing linkedIn, please sign out from your Microsoft Account.

j) Sign in again to your Microsoft Account using the link https://account.live.com

k) Click on Permissions.

l) Click Add Accounts.

m) Click on linkedIn icon.

n) Click Connect.

o) Enter your linkedIn Email and Password.

p) Click Ok, I`ll Allow it.

q) Click Done.

If the issue still persists, feel free to post and I would be glad to help you.

hi. I tried. It didn't work!

in windows phone and outlook (Office Outlook) it is working.

In the consumer preview it worked, in Win 8 Pro, it is not.

I tried again now, I removed the linkedIN, I remove the connection from linkedIn settings, then I added again.

didn't work yet.

Hello,

I have the same issue. I have connected my LinkedIn Account to my Live Account however the status messages do not appear in the Whats New Section of the people app.

I have uninstalled the people app, revoked permission from my live account. Restarted the Windows 8 PC, reinstalled the people app, added the LinkedIn Account and waited for synchronisation to complete but still not status updates.

I have checked to see whether there are further updates for the app but there are not.

When I add twitter the updates appear instantly.

It does not seem correct.

Same issue. This thread a bit more useful than same problem at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_8-ecoms/linkedin-status-updates-not-appearing-in-people/d3885243-a641-4575-a63b-7b383da42802

Please, more help needed.

I've also revoked and reconnected LinkedIn to my live account with no success fixing the problem.

This looks more hopeful

http://windowsphone.stackexchange.com/questions/1364/whats-new-updates-not-working-in-people-hub-but-working-in-twitter-app

Basically removed ALL connections, not just linked in.

Haven't got any new linked notifications yet, but at least I now have the LinkedIn icon in top right of screen.

It's a start. Hopefully is fixed.

Sigh, perhaps not. When I added all the accounts the LinkedIn icon disappeared, but perhaps the '...' at top right means 'more' and that is where linked in is sitting.  It comes back if I remove any of the other accounts.

Back to the start...

I also continue to experience the issue.  I tried contacting LinkedIn directly about the issue, but they redirected me to the Microsoft Answers forums.
