How do I keep Chrome from switching to windows 8 mode?

Original Title: Windows 8 & Chrome Issues

How do I keep Chrome from switching to windows 8 mode?  It doesn't work for me in Windows 8 mode and the only way I can seem to get it to revert back to 'desktop' mode (which I am assuming is windows 7 compatible mode) is to uninstall / reinstall. 

Of course, this could just be me getting used to Windows 8...

I can help, on my computer i launched chrome as a windows 8 app by accident. In the corner of the browser page when you open it there are three bars, one on top of the other. This is the settings menu. Once you click just scroll down about four lines and it will read, "Relaunch in Desktop". Hope this helps.
