Brand new windows 8 laptop switching from 64 to 32 bit for Xbox app?

I just purchased a HP with Windows 8 running 64 bit so I do not have the option of

pre-installed versions. I want to run Xbox Smart glass on this system but Silverlight

software (needed for the application) will not run in 64 bit. Is there a way to switch

down to 32 bit in pure windows 8 or is there another way to deal with Silverlight with

Xbox Smartglass?

Really strange that it wont work on x64, x64 supports x32 apps as well, try it again:

This is the direct link to the app for windows 8, it installed successfully and I have a x64 system
