1. Did you make any changes to the computer before installing the updates?
2. Which antivirus software are you using?
Here are a few steps which you can follow:
Run Windows Update troubleshooter and check if it helps. Refer the following steps:
a) Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard, this will bring the search interface.
b) Type in ‘Troubleshooting’ and click on ‘Settings’ for the result.
c) Under ‘Troubleshoot computer problem’ click on ‘View all’ on panel to the left.
d) Open ‘Windows Update’ troubleshooter.
If you are using any third party Anti-virus program, disable it to check if it’s conflicting: Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you
should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
Note: Reset the computer to start as normal. Refer step 3.
