Q: Error 80240fff when performing Windows updates

I have been trying to install windows update but i am unable to do so due to some error and it says error code is 80240fff.

Any idea how to fix it?

Adding to José Antonio Pontón Posada CEO's suggestions, you may try the following methods and check if it helps you in fixing the issue with Windows updates.

If you receive Windows Update error 8024001F while checking for updates, you need to connect to the Internet. Make sure that your network cable is plugged in and securely connected to your computer. To check if your Internet connection is working, try opening your web browser and try going to one or more reliable websites that you frequently visit. Once you have confirmed that you are connected to the Internet, check for updates again.

I suggest you to run the windows update troubleshooter and check if it helps.
