Windows 8 stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" Won't boot.

I have a CyberPower PC w/ Windows 8 and was working fine then it froze. So I just simply powered off and when I powered on it was stuck on "Preparing Automatic Repair" with no signs of loading. So I went into the BIOS and set boot from cd and when it it started to power up it froze on the loading screen with the windows logo with no signs of loading as well. Any help please would like to get this fixed.

Hi Brett,

- Were there any recent changes made on the computer prior to the issue?

You may perform automatic repair using Windows 8 disc and check if it helps.

1. Insert the Windows 8 installation disc into the disc drive, and then start the computer.

2. Press a key when the message Press any key to boot from CD or DVD appears.

3. In the ‘Windows setup’ page, select the language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.

4. Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

5. Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Automatic Repair’ and select the operating system.

Please update us with the results. We will be happy to assist you further.
