Windows 8 error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (iaStorA.sys) keeps on comming up

Recently my hard drive was acting up and so I ordered a replacement from HP, upon replacing the hard drive every time I shut down the computer, put it to sleep or hibernate the error drIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (iaStorA.sys) comes up. I think this might be a driver issue of some sort because the hard drive is new, but I don't know where to get the drivers. Maybe it's not even a driver issue so I do not know what to do to fix it.

Virtually all of these were Related to iaStorA.sys Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver from Intel Corp and your Symantec.

I would update to the newest Iastor.sys driver (and if you are running an SSD update the firmware) and remove Symantec and use the built in defender in its place.
