Keyboard not working after installing windows 8

I just installed windows 8 last night...the top numbers row on my keyboard doesn't work. I wouldn't bother too much with it, because there's always Numpad...but I do like my symbols...anyway anyone else have this problem that could help me fix it?

Have you try to unplug the keyboard connector and plug it in again?

It might not solve your problem, but just give it a try, no harm.
