Getting random BSOD crashes

d1rtt asked on

Hello.

Recently i`ve beed getting random BSOD crashes and pc freezes.

System specs are

Mainboard: Asus A4M87TD/USB3

CPU: Phenom II X4 965 BE

GPU: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB

RAM: Corsair Vengace 8GB (2x4GB) 1600 CL9

PSU: 500W

Tests i did run :

Memtest: 2 RAM pieces together, moved between banks for 12h - no errors

Memter: one piece of ram at a time in 4 different banks each for 7 hours - no errors

OCCT stability test for 3h - no crash

Prime95 test for 1h - no crash

GPU has beed tested in a different PC and works with no problems

The crashes appear to be random.

PC can get a bsod while using an internet browser (opera and IE alike) or during playing a game (Battlefield 4, Battlefield 3, F2P games, Eveonline etc.).

The system is clean installed yesterday with up to date driveres.

Used Whocashed to try to pinpoint the troublemaker but to no effect.

Hers the link to 3 most recent dump files

There are definitely no software issues here, I'll tell you that much. It very much looks like RAM failure currently, or motherboard as you mentioned.

How are you running your RAM via the BIOS? I *realize* it passes Memtest, but it can still be improperly configured. I'd reset the CMOS for testing purposes and leave everything at default settings, don't even touch the DRAM timings. Leave them to what it resets to.
