Hi Petepan,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community forums.

From the problem description, I see that you are getting random Blue Screen Of Death on Windows 8.

I can imagine the inconvenience you have experienced. We are here to help and guide you in the right direction.

Provide us few more information to understand the issue better.
1. When exactly this issue occurs?
2. Is it while performing any particular function?
3. Did you make any recent changes on the computer prior to this issue?

Method 1:
I would suggest you to disconnect all the external devices other than mouse and keyboard. Then try restarting the computer and check if it helps.

Method 2:
If the issue persists, you put the computer in clean boot and check if it helps.

By setting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.

How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After clean boot troubleshooting step, follow Step 3 in the provided link to return your computer to Normal startup mode.

Method 3:
If the second method didn't fix the issue try to perform Automatic repair from Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE).

To perform Automatic repair on Windows 8 computer follow these steps:
a) Insert the media such as (USB or DVD) and restart the computer.

b) Press F12 key (typically this is F12, but it can differ between computer manufacturers)and choose the drive that you inserted the installation media into.

c) Once the Windows Setup window appears, follow these steps:

d) Click Next and select Repair your computer.

e) You will then see a blue screen and an option to choose.
e) Choose the option Troubleshoot and select Advanced options.

f) You may choose Automatic Repair from Advanced boot option.

Let us know the status of the issue after performing the troubleshooting steps. If you need any further assistance or information about Windows, I will be glad to help you. We, at Microsoft strive towards excellence.

Hi Geethu B,

thanks for your feedback.
First i will respond to your questions.

1. When exactly this issue occurs?
Everytime i start my machine new (cold) this failure occurs.
Any restart does not matter.
BlueScreenView shows different reasons like in my last post described.
It will be triggered by the ENE PCI Controller (driver).
Should i uninstall following controllers?
- ENE PCI Memory Stick Card Reader Controller
- ENE PCI Secure Digital / MMC Card Reader Controller
- ENE PCI Smart Media / xD Card Reader Controller

I have had attempt to update this drivers but i found no newer in the net.
Should i uninstall these controllers?

2. Is it while performing any particular function?
No

3. Did you make any recent changes on the computer prior to this issue?
Nothing beside the change from Win 7 Ultimate to Win 8 Pro.

Besides above described i have done your recommended steps.
No change.

Thanks in advance
Pete Pan
