using WHS 2011 to back up a windows 8 pro laptop I get a error. Does anyone have a solution

Windows Home Server 2011 is currently not able to back up UEFI boot systems nor is it able to back up GPT type systems.  This may be addressed in a future update to the Windows Home Server product.

Wish I had known this before I upgraded to windows 8 pro.  I'll just shutdown the server until fixed or find a new non Microsoft backup.
