we need to disable PIN sign-in on our Windows 8 Pro clients not joined to a domain.
This works fine for Picture Password sign-in via Local Group Policy Editor ->Computer configuration-> Administrative Templates-> System-> Logon -> Turn off picture password sign-in. When set this to enabled the user is not able to Create a picture password
in PC settings.
But does not work the same way for PIN sign-in via Local Group Policy Editor ->Computer configuration-> Administrative Templates-> System-> Logon -> Turn on PIN sign-in. When this is set to disabled the user can still Create a PIN in PC settings.
How can we turn off PIN sign-in for machines not joined to a domain ?
