Cannot install security software on Lenovo Yoga 11
I have a new Lenovo Yoga 11. It comes with key code for Norton 360 but when I think I have downloaded this I get the message that this 'app will not work on this pc'. Have also tried to put in my fsecure key code with same result. Took it back to the shop
but their solutionj did not work. Norton totally useless, no help at all. Cannot get a reply from Lenovo. Have looked at the Microsoft store but have no idea if I have to buy an app or what it should be. I don't think I should have to spend any more to make
my pc safe. Does anyone have any ideas ?
Windows 8 already has security installed in the form of Windows Defender (based on Microsoft Security Essential). This covers anti virus and malware, so you don't need another anti virus/malware application.
As for Norton I personally wouldn't use any Norton product or MacAfee for that matter. Both hog system resources and are a pain to work with.
