Poor volume controls in windows 8 Metro mode.

How can volume be adjusted while in windows 8 metro mode and using xbox music, in desktop mode there is a speaker icon which can be clicked on, where is the equivalent in metro mode?  I am using a Dell desktop with a simple keyboard and mouse that don't have multimedia controls.  Thanks.

Hi,

Thank you for choosing Windows 8 and thanks for providing us an opportunity to assist you.

As per the description,  you want a volume control on the Start screen in Windows 8.

Only multimedia keyboards have additional volume controls. Type Win + C on the keyboard and select Settings.

I have no idea what Sandeep is saying as you can reach the volume controls in Metro apps by going to the Settings charm.
