I ran a system file checker scan and the results provided the following error message: "windows resource protection found integrity violations". I did look at the cbs log but cannot find out the problem. Any ideas before I reimage the machine.

For a better understanding of the issue, I would need more information from your end.
1. What is the exact issue that you are facing on the computer, due to which you run SFC scan?
2. Did you make any recent changes on the computer prior to this issue?
To find out which system files are causing the issue, I would suggest you to refer the steps under the sections "How to view details of the System File Checker process" and "How to manually replace a corrupted system file with a known good copy of the file".
