Windows 8 Sytem Service Exception and repeated BSOD

Hi

 

New Win 8 HP laptop.

 

Had for 1.5 days.

 

After win 8 updates, I get constant BSOD and System Service Exceptions.

 

Have read on other posts that you'd like minidumps and other info via Skydrive.

 

This is impossible.  Despite being the Administrator and sole user, I am denied permission to cut, copy, paste, zip or do anything with .dmp files.

 

Please give a guide as to exactly how I can get you this info.

Try copying the minidump files to a folder on the Desktop this way:

First, create a folder on the Desktop and call it Minidumps

Then open the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and do the following:

Home > Select all > Home > Copy to > Choose location > Minidumps > Copy

 

Then right-click the Minidumps folder > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.

Then upload the newly created compressed (zipped) folder to Windows Live SkyDrive and provide a link, here.

Make sure the folder on Windows Live SkyDrive is a "public folder" "shared with everyone":

 

On Windows Live SkyDrive, right-click the folder  with the minidump files > Share > Get a link > Make Public

Then copy and paste the link here.

The minidump files showed two stop error, primarily a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b) error an also a SESSION_HAS_VALID_POOL_ON_EXIT (ab)  error.

 

You can try updating applicable drivers such as the VGA driver:

However, because the computer is new and the cause of the errors is not obvious and may be hardware related I would recommend to contact the retailer or Lenova support on the issue.
