why does windows 8 use so much ram? I have 4 gb of ram, and the tack manager says 91% is being used, most of it by windows services

my computer is working so slow. it has windows 8, 4gb of ram , and a 2.4 ghz dual core processor.

on average it uses 30% of the processor but it always uses at least 91% of its ram, and the task manager shows most of it is being used by windows services. how can I get my computer to stop using so much ram?

If your 64 bit that maybe one reason as 64bit tends to use more ram. 4GB is enough to run Windows 8 64bit but you really should have at least twice that for you to be happy with the performance. Hope this helps and if you need further assistance post and we will be Glad to help you.
