My windows 8 tiles just turn black or are in the wrong place at startup and can't even go into desktop mode

The tiles at startup are all mixed up, for example the music app which is two tiles big appears as two Internet explorer apps one tile big each, whenever I enter desktop mode the screen turns black entirely, and every option mismatched l.

Check the Graphics card manufacture's download site for the most recent Windows 8 drivers for your card.
ATI: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index5.aspx?lang=en-us

If you are unable to do that then try the following so you can download the graphics driver.

If you are unable to load Windows or if your PC isn't performing as well as it once did, and you don't know why, you can refresh your PC without deleting any of your personal files or changing your settings.
