Windows 8 does not recognize ethernet cable

GeorgeHazProblems asked on

Original Title: Windows 8 Hp 2000 Notebook Pc can't find the internet cable

Well guys, everything was fine, until someday the notebook stopped recognising the cable.

The notebook has a LED light at the cable's socket, that when you put the cable in the socket, the light turns on. But not now.

  I did the followings:

sfc /scannow

Btw, when i did this command, a message  appeared like this --> Windows recource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS]CBS.log.

Then i did these:

ipconfig /flushdns

nbtstat -R

nbtstat -RR

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

netsh winsock reset

And after this i restarted the pc, but nothing happened.

Any help would be appreciated.
