Just received a Lenovo G780 laptop with Windows 8 and it always disconnects from the network after I wake it from sleep. I try to reconnect and it wont connect to the network at all. I have to restart the computer to get it to reconnect. Not sure why it
is doing this? Is this an option in the power settings? I figured it would disconnect when it goes to sleep but that it should automatically reconnect when I wake the computer.
Thanks for the help in advance.

Go to the Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings (in the left pane), right-click on the connection you‘re using, click Properties > Networking Tab. Now remove the tick from the IPv6 box. If it makes no difference or causes other problems
it is completely reversible by ticking the box.
Right-click Computer, click Properties > Device Manager (in the left pane). Expand Network Adapters > double-click the wireless adapter > Power Management Tab and make sure the check box is cleared against ‘Allow the computer to turn off this device……’.
