Unable to set up HomeGroup in Windows 8, error: Your network connection must have IPv6 enabled to create or join homegroup.

Original Title: homegroup set up


Have tried setting up home group but get following error "Your network connection must have IPv6 enabled to create or join homegroup" I have ticked the IPv6 box in the network connection but the error still appears.


Am running a Windows upgrade package from Windows 7 on a 64 bit dell precision.


Any thoughts appreciated
