Connecting to HomeGroup Windows 8-'no HomeGroup detected'

Original title: HomeGroup Windows 8 to 7

I set up HomeGroup on my new Windows 8 computer but it won't link to our existing Windows 7 computers. I get a message on those saying 'no HomeGroup detected'. I have run the HomeGroup troubleshooter on all three computers but this has not solved the problem. Any solution?
