Cannot connect to the internet after installing Windows 8 Pro
I installed Windows 8 Pro on my laptop, but I can't connect to the Internet. When I diagnose the problem, it can't find the problem. I'm using a dell laptop. The notification on the corner of the desktop says that I'm connected. I am using a wifi which
is working alright as I can connect on my ipad with it. Anyone can help?
Thanks for the suggestions. However, I solved the problem before the suggestions came in. I uninstalled my antivirus and then refreshed the Windows 8, using the Windows 8 CD in. With the CD in, go to Settings. Click Change PC Setting. Go to General. On
the right, scroll down to Refresh your PC without affecting your files. Follow instructions. It worked perfectly. I can now connect to the internet. Some downloaded software were removed and would have to be downloaded again. Personal files were moved to Windows
old. These can be retrieved.
