Cannot connect to the internet after installing Windows 8 Pro

Boot the computer in Safe mode with Networking and check if the issue persists by following the below link.
Windows Startup Settings (including safe mode):
If the issue does not persists in Safe Mode with Networking then perform a clean boot.
You need to perform a Clean Boot to prevent any conflicting third party applications from interfering with your computer.
