windows was not properly shutdown and failed change Lock Screen Background

I have laptop Asus A46CB core i5, but I have the problem with shutdown, the problem is windows was not properly shutdown, the question is why I get this error in Action Center ? and I have one more problem with change the Lock Screen Background, it say "Lock Screen Error, Setting the lock screen failed, please try again".
what can I do for this problem ?

1)        What is the exact/complete error message you get in Action Center?

2)        Did you make any changes to power settings prior to this issue?

3)        Have you activated Windows 8 after the installation?

 

I would suggest you to follow the troubleshooting methods given below.

 

Run the Power Troubleshooter.

 

You can run the Power troubleshooter to adjust your computer's power settings. The Power troubleshooter checks things like your computer's timeout settings, which determine how long the computer waits before turning off the monitor display or entering sleep mode. Adjusting these settings can help you conserve power and extend your computer's battery life.

 

After checking with the requirements, please perform power troubleshooter. Follow the steps given below:

 

a)        Press Windows + W together.

b)       Write Troubleshooting in the search box right up corner and hit enter.

c)        Click on Troubleshooting tab.

d)       Click on view all option on the upper left corner.

e)        Select the Power options from the list.

f)        Click Next to Run the Power Troubleshooter.

Problem : Windows was not properly shutdown
Description : The previous system shutdown at 8:33:57 AM on 6/19/2013 was unexpected
2. yes, I just add Change settings that are currently unavailable that is hibernate.
3. yes

I have run the Power troubleshooter, but it say "No changes or updates were necessary
