Windows 8 - Ultrabook - Code 19 Keyboard & Mouse

I recently got an ultrabook with Windows 8.

After about a few hours of use, my keyboard and mouse are Code 19 (the ones built into the machine - an ultrabook).

The keyboard and mouse work in like recovery type modes, but I do not have the recovery data to do a full recovery.

I have uninstalled the drivers, rebooted, windows reinstalls the drivers and they are still Code 19.

I have tried using the troubleshooting program in the control panel, and it says its unable to fix the driver issue.

What else can I do?

There is an upper filter but no lower filter.
The upper filter data is: kbdclass ikbevent aswKbd.

Try removing the aswKbd value but leave the  ikbevent and kbdclass values.

The kbdclass value is the default.

The aswKbd is from Avast and ikbevent is from Intel.

If removing the aswKbd value does not help then remove the ikbevent value.

Create a System Restore point before removing a value and restart the computer afterward.
