Windows 8 Pro - Driver Power State Failure

Hello,

I installed Windows 8 Pro a few months back and getting the Blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and the computer shuts down. Could anyone help resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Answer

I would suggest to remove the PxHlpa64 entry.

To remove the PxHlpa64 entry double-click LowerFilters and, under Value data, remove PxHlpa64 > OK

Create a system restore point beforehand and restart the computer after.

Then update the GEARAspiWDM, which iTunes uses, to the latest version by installing the latest version of Gear drivers (4.020.5):
