Windows 8 on mac shut downs the computer when put on sleep

I have even looked for latest drivers, but I am apparently  running the latest drivers. So I am not sure what further steps I could take

Thanks for contacting Microsoft Community.

You need to update the display drivers. Download the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and install it. Or if the driver installed is latest (no update available), uninstall the software and driver, restart the PC, install the software and driver and again restart the PC.
