Windows 8 can't find the built-in webcam?

Hi,
I have recently purchased about a week ago, my Alienware M18x laptop. and the integrated webcam can't be found.

On the first day upon purchasing it, it worked (The webcam turned on to take a profile picture), but since then, it hasn't. My computer is running on Windows 8, so when I select the Webcam App, it says "Connect a camera."
I have also tried different ways of having my camera work (such as trying to use it on Skype and things such as that), all say that I have no webcam plugged in, when it is an integrated webcam.

So how can I make it so that my webcam can be found? I'd love to talk to friends of mine on Skype with it soon!
Thanks!
