Win8 crashes when waking from sleep
Within the last two weeks my Windows 8 laptop (Lenovo w520) is now crashing consistently every time I wake it from sleep. The only way I can keep it from crashing is to either force it to keep from going to sleep or shut it down.
Looking in the event log I can't see anything specific that's causing it (System log shows only "unexpected restart" or stuff like that). I tried jumping back to a system restore point but none go far enough back. Any ideas as to how to troubleshoot this? :( I have to believe this is a driver issue, but can't find what could be causing it...

Answer
That was a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED stop error again which again may indicate a problem with the storage controller.
Because of the issue reported with the most recent Intel storage drivers I would suggest to roll back to a previous driver the pre-dates the problematic 11.5.0.1207 version.
You could try the Windows 7 driver posted at the download site for the Lenovo w520
